Steven M. Robinson, Founder & Co-DirectorDiscovering at a young age his love for the business of music, Steve
Robinson began producing concerts and promoting bands as a junior in
high school. This continued as a hobby well after graduation. At the age
of 21, he joined country music newcomer, Randy Travis, for his first
cross-country tour.
After coming off the road and spending two years in sales, the Richmond,
Virginia native moved to Tennessee where he graduated with honors from
East Tennessee State University, having double-majored in Public
Relations and Speech. While in college, Robinson served as General
Manager for the St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Club affiliate in the
Appalachian League,
In 1994, Robinson followed his interests to Nashville, where, combining
his lifelong love of music and politics, he served as a speechwriter for
congressional candidate (current US Representative Marsha Blackburn),
and later worked in Don Sundquist's successful campaign for Governor as
a liaison to the music industry. This led to the opportunity to
Vice-Chair The George and Barbara Bush 50th Anniversary Celebration,
where he was involved in every aspect of pre-event logistical planning
including production, scripting, security, travel, entertainment, and
promotion. The show, "With Love, From Nashville," was taped to air as
part of a special on The Nashville Network.
In 1995, when former Tennessee Governor (now US Senator) Lamar Alexander
assembled the team for his Presidential campaign, Robinson was hired as
Deputy Director for Advance, serving in that capacity for the next year.
Since becoming a consultant in 1996 and founding LogiCom , Robinson has
worked with six primary and general presidential campaigns, many
Republican Governors, Senators, Congressmen, former President Bush and
the current President and Vice-President. His responsibilities have
included the logistical planning and execution of hundreds of events;
the production of dozens of concerts featuring music headliners;
managing bus tours; supervising large staffs, overseeing candidate
movement and security concerns; and, once again, music industry
relations.
He managed the Republican National Finance Committee's activities at the Republican National Convention in 2000, 2004 and 2008, and the Presidential Inauguaral in 2001 and 2005. Corporate clients for whom he has consulted are varied and include
USAirways, AFLAC, America's pharmaceutical manufacturers, the NBA's
Miami HEAT, the NHL's Nashville Predators, NASCAR's Cracker Barrel 500,
the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the
Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
He has produced events in all 50 states and Europe, in famed venues as
varied as The White House and US Capitol, The Grand Ole Opry, Lincoln
Center, Constitution Hall, Rockefeller Plaza and the Atlanta Motor
Speedway.
In 1996, Robinson founded LogiCom Project Management, LLC, a public relations and Artist Management company, and serves as its Co-Director.
