Eligibility
All active members are eligible to attend the Republican National Convention. Inactive members (those whose membership fees are not current) who wish to attend should contact their group representative at the Republican National Committee.
Hotel Accommodations
The Convention Office has reserved hotel accommodations in New York and has made housing assignments for all official groups and state delegations attending the Convention.
- Members can secure hotel accommodations only through LogiCom. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis in order of receipt of completed registration forms. Availability is limited.
- A credit card must be provided to guarantee each hotel room reservation.
- Active membership must be confirmed and all Convention fees must be fully paid before reservations can be confirmed.
- Each active member is eligible to receive one hotel room.
- All hotels in New York City will require a five-night minimum for room reservations between Saturday, August 28th and Friday, September 2nd. Members may extend their stay prior to or after those dates if desired.
Air Transportation
New York City is served by three major airports: LaGuardia, Kennedy, and Newark, with service by most major airlines. Continental Airlines (with service into Newark) has been designated as the Official Airline of the 2004 Republican National Convention. Air transportation to and from New York is the sole responsibility of the member.
Ground Transportation
Motor Coach transportation will be provided from the host hotels to all events and activities listed herein on the registration form. Airport transfers to and from hotels are the responsibility of each member. If a limousine or private car is desired, any and all requirements and contacts are the responsibility of the member. Access and parking for private cars will not be available within the security perimeter of the Convention Hall at Madison Square Garden.
